[Party Picassos Facepainting]

Just excited to share a winning entry of mine!!! It's inspired by Van Gogh's Starry Night.
I was asked to do this painting at a night club gig a year ago. So I wanted to do it more like the actual painting. Fun stuff. Maybe I should work on a Picasso next time!

I love the painterliness of a Van Gogh Painting.  Have helped students do them in Oil Painting classes sometimes.   imagine it's very different to do it on a Face.  Very interesting how it turned out

It's always nice to be able to take your time AND have a reference.
Most gigs don't allow for that luxury. I'm trying to convince my sons
to sit for me more often. If not, I know lots of young girls from our
school, who would love to be my next victim!
