Diamond FX - ????
« on: August 25, 2011, 12:53:45 AM »

Have you guys been following the horrible upheaval of DFX here in the USA?

I am so heart sick for the USA Distributor. She just closed up, fired the help.  I know several retailers who have had to do other things as well.

I just started selling it as well.  I loved the paint!  But, I won't sell it anymore after this supply is gone Sad(

Yes, I heard!  Sad

I was worried because it's been my most popular seller.  I'll continue to sell the brand.

Sherry,
Did you get stuck w/ any of the Lot 101 & Lot 008? It just stinks that all the vendors are stuck w/ a product that IS DFX, but DFX will not claim it & have thrown the UD distributor under the bus. I'm switching to TAG after seeing how poorly it all was handled.

I forgot to mention... most my kit was the 101's & 008's & it'll kill my budget to have to replace perfectly good paint due to mismanagement....

Yes, I have some of those lot numbers, but I won't be getting rid of them.  Perfectly fine face paint and I use it too... I've seen no difference.  I did read a lot of what was said online and I also talked to both parties and got both sides of the story.  I've decided not to get in the middle because I have high regards for Elena and I also have seen nothing but good intentions from DFX, so I've decided to not make a judgement on something I really couldn't know for sure.

Understood completely. I'm pretty sure DFX said you can't sell the paint anymore. I understand if you chose to as it would kill your business.
I'm upset at how many vendors I know that have taken a huge financial hit from this.
I'm almost out of many paints, but waited to buy.
You might want to see what it would take to be a TAG vendor as well since many people are leaving DFX.

No worries Linda.  Don't feel like you have to keep your opinions to yourself.  I understand.

I actually do remember contacting Tag a while back to see about being a vendor and didn't hear back from them.  Maybe a possibility sometime in the future... who knows.  I was kind of hoping to become a vendor for Paradise first.  That was my next goal.

I am so TICKED at DFX Euro with all their #$%^&* about not knowing how the mystery lables got on the paint! "Fake paint." They lied right through their teeth to all of us.

I am going to help my local vendors get rid of their old DFX- I like it. But, I will not buy anymore from them, if they decide to place a new order with DFX Euro.  I will support TAG and Wolfe dealers however.

Very unhappy about all of this!!!

:::sigh::::

I am sure we all be seeing new stuff on the market to fill the void soon.

I agree, I'll buy the old DFX to help use it up, but DFX EURO will see no more $ from me. I'm trying to figure out what to do about white... There is no Wolfe white, TAG White just doesn't cut it for me(I love their other stuff) & that leaves nothing or DFX....
