The Flash face paint
« on: December 12, 2011, 04:36:12 PM »

I had a superheroes party over the weekend.  I was only allowed to paint superheroes.  I only had permission to take a picture of the birthday boy.  He was The Flash.  I also did batman, spiderman and a bunch of wonder woman.  I thought the party was a creative idea and not the usual.

The Mom told all the kids that the bad guy was coming and that they had to prepare for it.  First they were face painted as the superhero that they'd be.  Then they each made their own custom cape and armed with silly string.  Then the dad came in dressed all in black and a mask and the mom led the attack and they chased him out in the yard and around the house.  It was so cute, but I do think some of the kids were a little scared, like they weren't sure if it was real or not, but the Dad ended up revealing himself later.

Before he did, I heard the birthday boy ask, "Is that Dad?"  In a tone of voice, like, come on guys, he knew who it was.   Grin

Talk about nerve wracking.  I forgot to mention that they had the birthday boy go first and I'd never painted the flash before, so I wasn't sure if it would turn out o.k. or not... they had a video camera on me the whole time.  Yikes!   Smiley

Nice job! I have done two superhero parties. One mom was wonderwoman and the at the other the grandma (she is very young) was cat woman. The boys looked cool, but the woman were hot! Good thing that I didn't have to dress up!
