Out jam at Alexander Park was fantastic. Nice mix of experienced painters and new painters. It was great to meet people I didn't already know and to see other face painting friends. We had plenty of children to paint as the pavilion we used was about 5 feet away from the playground. Come and join us next month on September 20th - our theme will be Animals and Under the Sea Creatures. Alexander Park – 800 Old Snellville Highway, Lawrenceville, GA 30044 At one of the two pavilions near the parking lot (hopefully the one directly behind the playground).

I wish you were closer too, Sherry - I am going to try to upload some photos. None of these designs were painted by me. There was one new one for me that I would have loved to photograph, but the Dad wouldn't let me take a photo. Boo Hoo

Most parents seem happy to give permission for photos. But then when it's that one face painting picture you've been wanting and they say no. Or the child hates being photographed and runs off.

Thanks Sherry: We did learn quite a bit. We concentrated on mostly one thing, Butterflies. We used both paints and powders and different tools. Regarding the photo. I had painted something that I really didn't want to paint but it turned out good and I really wanted a photo -- but, of course the dad didn't want the photo taken. Now I am going to have to try to reproduce it.
