Question about website traffic

 I have a ritual of checking my website statics each morning when I'm checking my email. I enjoy seeing if I've gotten any visitors. The last few days I've gotten more hits than usual, but it looks like automated hits or something. Most say something like.. (google "") And they don't really linger or look at different pages on my website.

I'm just wondering what it's about and if anyone who is more computer savvy than me know what it means? Is this something search engines do? It doesn't seem to be real people and has origins all over. For example, Argentina, Canada and China are some different origins

have you ever tried posting on www.kijiji.com?...it's free and very easy to do....you can also link to facebook or whatever...check it out!

Sounds like the automated bots are starting to crawl your site. That's good though!
