Snazaroo is a great brand. One little known fact is that they carry a 10 million dollar liability policy in case someone has a reaction to their make-up. This will do a lot to limit your companies liablity as this is the most likely reason you may be sued. My only real complaint is that the green does not come off easily. Even with a serious scrubbing there is still a faint green tint on the skin the next day.

Maybe you can try removing it the same way I remove Diamond FX when it stains. After the initial rinse, apply a mild shampoo directly to the skin and then rub it in, rinse and repeat as necessary. I think green and teal stain in most brands... I wonder why?

As far as I know Snazaroo is the best one for not staining the skin.

You can prevent "staining" by washing with a glycerin based soap. Glycerin is an ingredient in the make-up and using a soap containing it will remove all the make-up.
Pears Soap is glycerin soap - it is pretty easy to find. Any "clear" soap will be made with glycerin - there are all sorts available all over, even dollar stores.

I was face painting a boy this weekend as a green monster. He mentioned starting school the next day and his dad was teasing him about wearing it to school. After they left, my fingers were stained with green and it was unusually hard to get off. I don't know if it was because it was an older Snazaroo green (I could tell because it was getting dried out and harder to work up). Anyway, I pictured him trying to wash it off that night and being worried about going to school the next day green. I couldn't get the green off my fingers that day, but it was gone by the next morning. Shew!

Snaz puts people at ease because of its claim to be the safest in the world, I have no worries about safety and have gotten enough in my eyes to tint my contacts for a few days. The best thing about it is how easy it wipes off with just baby wipes or a wet cloth, the biggest concern parents in my area have is how easy it will come off the skin.

ALL of the stains, from all of the paints come right off with baby oil. I suggest to my customers they use a no-tears baby shampoo first in the bath or shower. Then, baby oil on a cotton swab to get if off close to the eyes. - Lilly Walters Henna Tattoo Artist, Face and Pregnant Belly Painter, in Claremont, La Verne, Upland, Rancho Cucamonga, San Dimas and Glendora www.funfacepainting.com www.pregnantbellypainting.infowww.funhennatattoo.comFace Painting Classes In Southern California, Montclair http://www.funfacepainting.com/facepaintingclass.html909-398-1228 Author of Books on Face Painting: "Face Painting Tips and Designs" book and "A Face Painters Professional Tools and Tricks" http://www.funfacepainting.com/book.html"500 Tips and Tidbits to Boost Your Income Inexpensive Rainmaking Ideas in Dry Times. I've never had any luck using baby oil or baby shampoo to remove any sort of make-up. Maybe it is my skin type, but they were just messy to use and BTW... bady shampoo DOES STING if you get it in your eyes!!!!
I wash with Ivory Soap or Pears Transparent Soap... either works for most colours and products. Usually I will remove most of the make-up with baby wipes first (on my own face!) then wash off the residue.
But greens and blues linger on me... as I type this I have a three day old green blotch on my arm from DFX that's lasted through three showers and two separate scrubbings.

That insurance is wonderful. Do keep in mind that it requires that you use only Snazaroo, and nothing else. So if all your paints and supplies are from Snazaroo and you don't use any other brands at all, that would include things like glitter, then their policy would apply.

That's why I don't use colors that stain. Even though they do attract people to buy designs made with those beautiful colors, I imagine that bad experiences washing them off might affect whether or not we get follow-up gigs. Whether or not those people will be awanting to be face-painted again.
If there's no other face-painter around upstaging me by offering those beautiful colors, people are very happy with what I can do with the easier colors.
Actually, it's not unusual for me to fall asleep after working a long day in face-paint. So it might be staying on me fo 24 hours. I appreciate that my choice of colors make the washing-experience no different than washing any other morning.

I worry about the stain factor as well. I use 2 brands, one that washes off easily and the other, not so much. It does wash off, it's just that you have to wash several times and the exception is around the eyes. If you use the staining brand of black around the eyes, it stays there the next day.
Then there's the problem of telling the parents. Yes, it does wash off, if you wash repeatedly to break down the parafin wax base.

All the good paints can and do stain to some degree; you get to know which colours in which brands but generally its the greens/ blues.
A lot also depends on skin type and its condition. I have 1 model I always bodypaint blue or green as she never stains; painted her with red and pink recently and she stained when i have never had those ones cause that before!
it rarely lasts overnight though.
Its not a biggy.
If you really worry try using a sheer coat of a nice pale metallic like snaz sparkle white or something first, it helps stop any staining usually.
As for the insurance; its nice but in the UK and many other countries you should not be painting without your own personal Public Liabliity Insurance anyway. that usually starts at about 1 million UK: most events and organisers ask for at least 5 million and it has to cover you and face painting specifically.
It isn't hard to get; there were several in the Uk offerring it reasonably, but then I began to paint all over the place so I had to join Equity the Performers Union to get International cover anyway.
