How to design your booth and signs.
« on: August 06, 2009, 01:43:26 PM »

I just use an ez-up tent.  It's fine when you are just starting out, but I'm looking for something more durable at this point.  My signs are simply High Res Photos inside a poster frame.  I hang them from a homemade sandwich board.  It's gotten me by for my first year but I would really like to have a more professional presentation.  If anyone has some advice or knows a good company to order from or better yet some pics of how you set up that would be great.

I made my own signs and laminate them. I did invest in a Lawn sign from 'Vistaprint' which is brilliant for fetes and carnivals.

Lightweight.  Unless you have a magnificent display,
I don't think the customers can tell the difference
between someone who brings a stool, some paints, and a papercup
or someone who brings a tent, 3 heavier chairs, solid signs which won't blow away, a tablecloth, a display table, and more.  It all looks like, lol, we just had a good idea sitting in our kitchen and decided to come out and play.

Lol - I've been supporting myself with this for 18 years, I do high-quality work, and I still have people encouraging me to turn this into a business.
