How was your fourth?

I survived the weekend!     How was everyone's 4th?  I worked Friday, Saturday and Sunday and had long lines from beginning to end each day.  I forgot to take a picture of my setup, but I got plenty of pictures of painted faces. 

I had a lot of fun and met a lot of interesting people with some fun requests thrown in there.  They had a kaoroke  area, so we were entertained by good music.  A few people were off key, but most were pretty good!    Michael Jackson songs were requested a lot and it gave me a bit of a sad feeling at times.  Apart from that, the kaoroke added to the fun atmosphere.  I had two teenagers request I paint them like two of the KISS singers and then they were going to go and sing some of their songs at the kaoroke.  I love it!  I told them whatever it was, it had to be fast because of the line.  And it was... pretty fast.

I had a short event for the 4th. I was at the Farmers Market in town. It was VERY hot, but it was on the short side so it wasn't too bad. I got to do a little of everything, balloons, painting, and temp tats.

Beautiful designs People... thanks for sharing!  I feel like things have been pretty brisk for my business also, despite the economy.  I guess people are willing to splurge a little for the fun of face painting.

My 4th of July was fun and a bit tiring. I went to two picnics.
