New Supplies !

I am so happy that the TWELVE NEW SPONGES that I ordered from
funfacepaint.com (that I learned about Here) arrived!

Not only am I feeling real solid and fresh
to have New Sponges,
but I'm also happy to get them from this new Source.
I'm glad I found you here, Sherry.
The order arrived right away, as you said.

Frankly, I only ordered them because I wanted to connect with you.
But it turns out that it was real important.  If we wash out the same
supplies, day after day, gig after gig, they do get kind of shvach.
It's important to freshen up every once in a while.

Anybody else not quite noticing how old their supplies are looking?
I didn't notice until I got the new sponges - now I would Not want
to use those old things.

I bought new balloons this week.  Not just replacements, but new types.  Makes me excited to get out and use them.  I bought blush-colored 260's for faces.  I bought Large and Small Bear-Ears.  I bough 5" rounds in black and in white.

Does everyone use a brand new sponge on each customer or do you reuse? I try to clean them very well so they are reusable. How many sponges do you bring on average for a 2 hour gig?

just received my ebay order from Don Reed with my bottles of Detailz. I got white, silver, black, royal blue and purple (on your advice; and the purple is purple - not pink). Very cool! I especially like drawing with it and using minimal color, it looks like a REAL tatoo. Many days when I am picking up my sons, I have doodles all over my arms. I wonder if I look like a biker chick! That would be a first!

I can so relate!  I'll paint my arm all over, when I get in that mood and I just want to play around... my face as well and then someone will come to my door!   

I've went out in town a few times with my arm painted up and I think people think they are real tattoos.   

When I go to a 2 hour gig, I'd say I throw in about 20 sponges.  I always take more than I need and I always have many clean ones left.  If it's an event where I'm swamped, I'll reuse sponges that are my most popular designs.  Most often, I'll use one sponge per child.
