I am 64yrs old. I have only seen young 'face painters' around.....are there any grannie ones?....should I try
I am an artist so I can use a brush. I have painted my grandkids and it is addictive. Looking forward to learning more. I would love to go round painting kids faces.

Hi Rosemary,

You're never to old to take up face painting in my opinion!  I can think of plenty of wonderful artists that are not spring chickens.  Gary Cole, from Snazaroo.  Mark Reid, I believe is in his fifties.  Deva, a wonderful artist from New York, took it up later.  I'm 41 and only started 2 years ago.

I live not too far from The Villages and Mount Dora, FL. I am the inexperienced youngster compared to the talent of some of the clowns/painters we have here. Just because you haven't been face painting, doesn't mean you shouldn't start now because if you have been painting for a bit I am sure you will be great!

i think the affinity for art is ageless.  whether or not you hold the brush, it transcends time...
