User Galleries

Has everyone seen that we have user galleries?  I encourage everyone to create their own personal gallery.  I don't know about you, but I love to peruse face painting galleries... I think we all do!   Smiley

It was tricky adding the user galleries to the forum, so I thought it may be tricky for members to know it exists.  If you go to the home page, you'll see where it says "Gallery" toward the top left.  Click on that and then look toward the top right of your page.  It should say, "My Albums".  Click on that and you can set up your own user gallery.  As of now, I need to first approve each photo before it will post, but I will change that as soon as I figure out how!   Cheesy

Update.  I think I have fixed it so that you can now add pictures and comments to the gallery without having to wait for approval.

Thank You for the Gallery
and the Paintings
and Everything, Sherry.

I wish I knew how you painted the 'camoflage' face in the boy's section of the Gallery.
All brush?  All sponge?  Start with green?  Start with brown?

I sponge it on.  When I first started playing with the camo face, I painted it on and it didn't really look that good.  I didn't know what I was doing wrong and then one day decided to try sponging it on and I thought it looked much better.

I apply the green first and try to apply more of it to the eye and nose area.  I noticed when I applied too much black on the eye or nose area, I didn't think it looked good.  So I go and apply the green until I think I've got it filling a lot of space all over and then the brown.  I leave the least amount of space for the black, because I thought it overwhelmed the face.

This has been me just winging it.  I hope I can learn things at the convention.  Especially when it comes to monster faces and shading.

Thanks Sherry ~ Funny how we can be fine on our own, but
it's so much more fun when we learn and bounce off each other.
