Our first contest will be a frog design. This can be cheek art or full face. You can post your submissions on this thread from now until August 31st. When posting please describe how you did the design and the colors or any special techniques you used. At the end of the contest, the winner will be voted on by forum members. The prize will be your choice of these 3 face painting books: Nick and Brian's Faces of Fantasy, Lisa Smiley's new Facing the Sea or Illusion Friends Step-by-step guide to face painting. I look forward to your froggy designs!  |

Sorry forgot to add: I used Diamond FX for all but the white. It was Wolfe. The picture got cut a little, the frog is looking at the fly above his head.

Very talented . I couldn't paint a frog if I tried--but seeing this--maybe I'll give it a go!

The tongue twisted frog looks cool and is painted well BUT I DONT THINK ANY ADMISSION SHOULD WIN IF IT IS NOT ORIGINAL. Any decent artist can copy art, but where is the creativity in that?
