Selling on ebay?  Well, that's not my thing - never figured out how to do it timeandcost-effectively.
But I am still interested - Wondering what kind of paint they would use.
I mean, you can't sell it with face-paints that would wash off as easily as they wash off my mannequin (usually with JUST water).  And I don't even think acrylics would stay securely....

I looked at a few of them and they were using acrylic paints and sealer.  One said she used Golden Brand artist grade.  On the baby reborns, they said they used Genesis Heat set paints.  Those babies are so precious and look like real newborns, so what I'm wondering is do they bake the babies to make the paint set?  That would be hard to get used to I think.  My mind knows they're not real, but they look so real.

Aw, you get in to the enjoyment of the results, too.
I mean, really get in to what it looks like.

I had a conversation about that with a guy in the Arkhams at today's gig.
He was talking about a new video game (called 'Wet') having come out with some Arkhams soundtracks on it.
I was saying that it sounds wonderful, but I couldn't handle it if it was as scary as 'Mortal Combat'.  He said it's not so bad - that it's just pictures.

I can handle scary face-paintings because we always have a normal person who can snap right out of any acting/playing even when wearing a 'scary' face - because we can see that there's a nice person underneath.  But, fooled by the face-painting, we're not treating the underneath-doll  'normal' when we put her in the oven.  I would hate to do that.
