We're starting a new contest. This one will run until December 31st and the theme will be Christmas/Winter designs. I think we can all use some Christmas/Winter design inspiration this time of year. You can enter up to 3 designs if you like. Please describe the process of your painting and the colors and brands used. If someone more computer savvy has some advice on how to have the pictures more uniform in size when added, I'm open to it. The prize will be the Diamond FX Metallix Palette. Here's a picture. The colors are Metallix Red, gold, silver, green, blue and violet. You can post your contest entries here.

Sherry,
You were wondering how all photos can be the same size.
Do not leave the words "do not resize my image" when uploading your photos
Instead, scroll to use the "320x240 (websites and email)"
This may work so all photos are the same size. Does anyone know if that's true?

Good idea Sophies. Just a thought...instead of 320/240 maybe they should be a bit larger so we can see the detail in the designs?

I used the 32- x 240 for my entries in the contest #11 & 12. Their size turned out pretty good sized.

Maybe a should read every word. Duh. Anyway, yes, if they were even larger, we COULD see the details better. Thanks!

O.k. let's try that. When entering the contest, please choose the resize for "websites and email". Thanks!

Oh My Goodness! This is an Excellent Prize. Might even encourage me to actually get it together to Enter This Contest.
Let me see now - Winter. Snowflakes. Yes! There must be something special we could do with Snowflakes -

I like it Sparkling.
I think it's interesting that it looks great on this face that has a lot of forehead, but it would probably be very different on a face that only has a little bit of forehead. It's funny that people would see something like this is a sample, and think they can get the exact same thing, when they have practically no forehead to paint on.

I just noticed that you made the Snowman out of just TWO white balls. That's a FANTASTIC idea. The traditional three that I thought it always had to have is Unnecessary, Redundant. I think the two looks better.

I hope Vi doesn't mind me posting, but she made a great tutorial of her design on Youtube. Here's the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vKwL6ggI5CYYou'll have to check it out and she has more face painting videos on there as well.
