To Relive the Moment
« on: November 16, 2009, 12:58:51 AM »

Ah, Our lives pass us by.  Each moment precious with what we can do with it.

Looking thru some recent photos, I can across this balloon that I had created.
But I cannot remember at all How I did it.

Really nice.  I so need to practice more with my balloons.  I'm really not advancing in that area.  Do you use face paint to decorate your balloons? I normally use markers, but I see you have white on yours.

Sherry, there are white Painter's markers available - they take a bit longer to dry, though Tongue (I have one, and rarely use it - pretty much unless it's for a delivery when I have the time to make things a bit nicer). I got mine at DeSerres (art supply store), but I think they have them in the cages at Michael's, and I've seen them at Walmart, but in packs instead of singles.

Thanks Kristal.  I'll have to look for these next time I stop at the craft store.

I finally broke out of my balloon box today.  I happened to take my kids to the nearest Chick Fil A today and there was a lady there doing balloons.  She did a heart on a stick thing, a fish on a fishing pole and a caterpillar.  I've wanted to know how to do the heart thing forever and seeing her doing it in person finally did the trick.  I could see how to attach the heart and it was so easy.  I went right home and tried her balloons out.  The heart I can easily add.  The fish I believe I can add with some practice and I haven't tried the caterpillar yet.

I'm so glad that I'm trying some new balloons!   Grin

Welcome to the Balloon World, Sherry ~

I'm also sort of a Newbie there, but I've been at that level for a couple of years already, so I've learned a thing or two already.
