What is everyone's plans for Thanksgiving?  I'll be making my famous potato candy and spending it at my mother's house this year.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!   Grin

I nearly had a job in the city - for an organization of the 'housing projects'.
Client was skittish though when I said that I had to be paid - lol

So I'll be making a SMALL turkey here.
My husband and I will be here (and MAYBE 2 other family members).
So I also invited an artist I know who is visiting NYC from Korea just now.

That will be tomorrow.
I might have something Thanksgivingy going on tonight too.

I'm not much of a holiday-person.
I guess I'm jsut 'Holiday - Challenged'.

Oh, it's not sweet potato, but a regular potato.  It is a really sweet dessert though.  You boil a potato.  Then you mash it with powdered sugar until you have a dough.  You roll it out, spread peanut butter on it and then carefully roll it up and slice.  It's an old family recipe, so it may be an acquired taste. Cheesy   So yummy!   Grin
