BTW, I usually paint the top of the tongue right onto the lower lip too
(only painting the rest of the lip black).  That way it looks more like the
tongue is coming out of the mouth.

Yes, I've done that before too... what was I thinking?  I also forgot to add the mouth corners, but I had already made one video with Alondra the day before.  Her Dad had been the camerman and hadn't zoomed in at all, so I had to reshoot the video the next day.  I felt bad about having her back to do it again and my mind was mush!   

She loved it though.  She wore the face the rest of the day and her little brother and sister insisted on matching Alondra and had me paint the Heart Puppy on them too!     Pretty fun!  I love those kids!  They played with my children the last 3 days.  I gave them a DFX paint palette to take home and they played with it all night.  Alondra seems naturally talented to me and she was painting up everyone all night.  They're my cousins who live in Alabama now and they left back for home last night.  We were bummed and their little 7 year old son cried and cried that he had to leave.

I haven't seen their father, my cousin in years, so it was sure nice to see him again and to get to know his family.  So much to be thankful for in the New Year!  I guess I've rambled on!

I enjoy the phrase, "Men draw circles; women color them in." In our house, I can talk forever and give details a plenty on any subject. With my hubby, it's "just the facts" ma'am.

I like the pretty practicing on our arm. You remind me of me!

My husbands the same way... usually a man of few words.  I love that he lets me jabber on and on, stays interested with the eye contact and all and lets me just get it out there.
