Glitter

I've noticed I rarely use glitter anymore. It's beautiful and I love the effect, but the application is problematic.  I tap it on and it seems to often smear paint or go on in perfect little fingertip circles.  I'm afraid to try the glitter gels, because I imagine the wet gel would smear the paint more.

How do you apply glitter?

I have a smaller poofer bottle with an opaque shimmery clear glitter.  That is all I use when I apply gliter.  Just for an added effect.  It blends in with all the colours.

same here, I would try a poof bottle if you haven't use remember to put it on once you lay down the base and you should be good.

I love glitter.
Still like a little girl, I remember Beauty.

Sometimes it's sparkly wow glitter - maybe white/blue like a snow-queen
or heavy gold - oooooo

Sometimes Beauty is light blue with pink and lavender.  oooooo
Or or it can be wow bright child's red/yellow/blue!

Or a clean/crisp-looking black and white.  Reserved and neat.

Different glitter, used appropriately for the image -
can give it that just something else to make it Really special.

Not to say that I bring all those glitters around with me - yeow.
A little opalescent glitter is usually about it.
Too much to carry.  Not enough time to vary my creations so carefully.
(It is just a temporary face-painting for the day - the kid might mess it up at the next ice-cream activity anyway.)  But I am saying that glitter is a good thing.

I use gittler in several ways.

1) Glitter gels with the cone applicators, like Liquid Bling.  Great stuff, never smears anything.

2) poofer glitters. LOVE them! But, you need to poof them onto the paint when it is wet.  If you miss that window, try also doing the BRIEFEST, spirtz of water from a FINE cosmetic spray bottle anywhere you want the glitter to stick, then poof

3)  Loose glitter. I use a clear lip gloss, with a little sponge applicator at the end.  I just lay it into the loose glitter, and touch it to the skin. This will smear, if you are not careful. I tend to use these on spots where is not much paint.

4) Glitter eye liners.  Great for the eyes.

Make sure to take your photos before you glitter on.  It is very hard to get good shots afterwards.

Hope that helps Smiley

Glitter Gel, Best stuff on earth!

Love it, no smearing, just accent your design with lines or dots.

girls fall in love with me when i take out the glitter...then they look at their faces and forget about me and fall in love with their painted selves...

i painted a little boy who told me he wanted glitter on his monster and it turned out better than what i expected...

Lol - You can probably have a pink glitter
and a blue glitter if you want -
One for girls and one for boys.
People are so silly.

I had a call this week for someone who wants entertainment for adults at a Purim Party.
Do you know what that is?  It's supposed to be costumes and acting real silly - face-painting
would be perfect.  But what does the woman say?  Oh, I was looking for something for adults.
Aghk - some people are so silly.

Let the artists do their stuff, and they can look great.
Tie our hands, decide whether or not we can use glitter,
and
