It looks like I need to break the tie in the vote for our next contest, so I'll go with "Fun with Rainbows". I'll leave it up to you how you interpret that when you're making your design. The contest will run until March 16th. Post your photos here and also email your photo and name to sherrys.funfaces@gmail.com. If you'd like to have your website or email address posted with your photo, please include that when you send the email. The prize will be your choice of 4 of the Snazaroo shimmer powders. Seen here: http://stores.funfacepaint.com/-strse-Powders/Categories.bokThanks!

Rainbow Tiger By Monica Leo of Trading Faces NH To create this Rainbow Tiger I used the Wolfe White w/sponge for eyes and nose. Silly Farm Rainbow Cake for the forehead and cheeks w/sponge. (to apply paint on the sponge....I always spritz the paint w/water then rub w/ dry sponge.) To apply the rainbow on the face, I press lightly w/sponge and drag at the same time) For the outlines I used Black Wolfe Paint. Final touches were gold body glitter. For me, Wolfe paint works the best for outlines and definitions. www.tradingfacesnh.com

It doesn't have to be a step by step pictures. It can be or you can describe the process and products used. Also, email the originals to sherrys.funfaces@gmail.com before the end of the contest, so I will have better pictures to work with when putting them up for the vote. Thanks!

Ahhhhh - rainbows! What a great theme for face painting! Amazing designs can be made with rainbows! One swipe of a rainbow stroke and anything can be created. We should see some pretty amazing designs on this contests!

OMG - I have been working on a Wizard of OZ theme as well. As soon as rainbows was announced, I automatically thought of the Wizard of Oz. Darnit. Hmm.......maybe I will still try what I am working on. A totally different take.

Hello - my name is Gina Newsum, and I live in Michigan. I started face painting in late July of 2009. I am new to this forum, so please excuse me if I post something wrong, for I am still learning it! On my face painting pictures that I have sent in for the FUN WITH RAINBOWS CONTEST, these were all face painted on me, by me! With the rainbow I used a sponge to apply the color, and for the rainbow in the wizard of oz picture, it was put on with a 3/4 inch brush. I used Snazaroo and Diamond FX products for these designs.
Thank you for viewing

Judy Garland and Toto "some where over the rainbow" This was done with all Snazaroo paints. Took some doing to do Judy's face, it was hard to turn sideways and still try to look in to the mirror!
