Gee..how much to charge?

Does this sound like too much?
I'm pretty much flying blind here....please give me an answer...I have to get this done and soon. I live in a small area so this might be too much to charge...Maybe i should drop all about $25.00?

Small birthday parties: 1 hr. minimum- $100.00 (up to 12 kids)
 1-1/2 hrs. @ $125.00 (savings of $25.00)
 2 hrs. @ $150.00 (savings of $50.00)

Large birthday parties:  2 hr. minimum @ $125.00 (from 13-20 kids)
 1-1/2 hrs. @ $150.00 (saving you $25.00) !
 2 hrs. @ $175.00 (saving you $50.00) !

If someone books a party during your party- You both get a 10% discount

Daycare Centers- Most daycares around here only want to pay by the child so the parents can pay it, not the daycares.  I was told about all I could expect would be about $1.00 per face which is ok because they are all little and i would probably just do cheek art.

Large Events/Corporate
$100.00 per hr. up to 50 people
$200.00 per hr. up to 100 people

I think many face painters charge $100 per hour, so I think it would be a good price and the discounts can only make customers that much more happy.

I'm confused on the different pricings a bit.  On the large parties, it looks like you're charging $125 an hour?  So I get $187.50 for 1 1/2 hours and this makes me come up with a savings of $37.50 on the 1 1/2 hour charge of $150.00, etc.  Am I reading this wrong?

And on the corporate pricing, I'm not sure I understand it.  What is the difference from $100 an hour or $200 an hour?

By the way, love the saying under your avatar, too cute!   Smiley

Me - I think Mollie's pricing is too complicated.
Complicated for a busy artist
and complicated for the clients.

I keep it simple.
And I think my prices are a little higher than hers.

$100/hour - whether you're rich or poor, corporate or family, young or old, cheek art or full face.....
2-3 hour minimum depending on where you live
plus $50 travel fee to go out of my county.
