I like the DFX gold metallix. I've also heard that there's a Graftobian gold mixing powder? Not sure how that works, but it's supposed to be awesome. Also heard that Kryolan Interferenze bronze is more like a gold.

I would have to agree with Sherry, my vote goes to DIAMOND FX Metallic Gold. I think it is the brightest and the boldest gold, and if you are using it for the body painting, it will cover and blend really well. Good luck

So sad ~ The job's not going to happen ~ And now that I'd just love to wash somebody in Gold, I think it's silly to buy the stuff and do it on myself to go nowhere.......
Wait! I work at gigs. If I want to try it, I could make myself special for a gig some day. Yeah. Diamond FX metallic gold, you say......

I have a split cake of DFX/ Wolfe gold and Kryolan Aquac metallic Kupfer - gets the FX strength and the Kryolan sparkle then. All the kryolan metallics beat the FX in colours/ shine but I do love FX too. My other faves are the Grimas gold - its sort of grainy sparkles? Hard to describe. And not to be wasted on kids as its pricey and in an annoying screw-top glass jar, is the AMAZING Fardel liquid gold (still nt as good as their 2-tone green-gold or blue-gold) for linework/ details.
The Graftobian or Mehron metallic powders and matching mixing liquids are really best for metallic bodie - the liquid is fiddly to mix and will not last overnight once mixed. i would not reccommend it for kids faces etc, is fairly easy to wash off but is a ifferent kettle of fish than face paints. Keep it for BIG areas.
