« on: February 04, 2010, 12:44:29 PM »

I posted a new video on Youtube.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Umz1SDX62ak

I waited until the kiddos were asleep to tape it and midway through a knock at the door!   Smiley

Video! Very well done, and I enjoyed watching it! I loved how you just didn't stop after the dolphins, you kept on going, and added more and more detail. I watched the design just explode when the white highlights were added! Some times just the littlest small detail lines will make the design go to that wow factor step, that we all look for.  I have thought about trying to make some you tube video's but, I haven't the least idea on even how to begin? Do you have to have a special camera? Or a web cam? Is there a site that explains on ow to make a you tube video? Can you edit it before it goes on you tube? Oh my all these questions for you! Great job and congrats on a great video, that will be viewed by many I know!

Wow, thanks Gina for the compliments.   Smiley

I bought a Flip camera and use that to make videos.  I either prop it somewhere or have someone film me.  Then I upload the video to my computer and use Windows Moviemaker to edit it.  I'm not a whiz with technical stuff and I don't really have a lot of extra time, so I just do a basic edit and add my website and whatnot.

Once you create an account on Youtube, you can upload your video from there.  The video cannot be any longer than 10 minutes, so make sure you edit it accordingly.  I would also name your video as you'd like it to appear online before uploading it to Youtube, so you don't have to go in and change it after uploading it.

Hope this helps!

That was absolutely the Best way I ever saw to paint a Dolphin Sherry.
I love to watch your videos - and I'm happy to See you.

Thanks for the info on YouTubing.  Even tho I can't imagine finding the time to do that,
I did have the same sort of questions.  Maybe someday.

Gee thanks, what a nice compliment!   Smiley

I started making the videos last year.  I knew I needed a way to get my face paint supply shop's name out there and I also knew I was no where near as good as many of the artists I see online.  But I thought I could definitely be a help to and give ideas to new artists that have just started out face painting.
