My first ever Belly Bump Painting!
« on: February 14, 2010, 08:14:50 PM »

Today I did my very first belly bump painting today! This is my daughter and my very first grandbaby, due to be here in about one week! And her name is Hannah. This made a very special Valentines Day for me, and it made lots of memories. We painted right after we had breakfast, and we stayed in our jammies. All my daughters came home to watch. We had a jammie party and painted. Stacy laughed so hard because I had to stop painting so often, because Hannah kept moving around! On I put my paint brush on her belly and Hannah kicked so hard, it popped my brush up in the air! I thought it turned out pretty good for my first, and I was blessed to have done it on my own daughter, for my first grand baby Hannah, I love you Hannah and I can't wait to hold you in my arms to tell you!

Congratulations ~  That's not only a beautiful story,
it's also a beautiful painting.  I'm not surprised that you would
do such an excellent job Gina.

That looks very nice!! Did you get it on the first try? I would have to plan something that big out.

yup - I got it on the first try - I knew I wanted to do some thing with roses, because I can do them so very fast, and I wanted to do some thing around Hannah's name.  When she is born, and comes home, I want to do some thing with some little tiny roses on her arm the first day, I did roses on my face and I painted roses on Stacy's face, then I want to take all four of the pics and make a collage and title it "the circle of life! It will have three generations, but all with roses as the theme.
