My first Halloween Show
« on: February 19, 2010, 05:31:11 PM »

At my last gig, an Elmo performer asked me if I would be at the Halloween show coming up in Rosemont, IL. I have always wanted to get into one of these trade shows so I can see what several companies have to offer in one place. The Wolfe Bros company will be there; not sure of who else will be as far as face painting. "Elmo" told me that prices are much lower at these kind of events. Can't wait to see what I don't have and get some new toys!

Anyone attend these before? What should I expect?

It sounds similar to the face painting conventions where you can buy supplies at discounted rates, plus no shipping.  Maybe they'll be doing some demos too... bonus!

Do you have a link for the show?  Or more info about it?  Sounds interesting.  If it's the Wolfe FX Makeup, I took a class from some of the owners Kurt Drake and April Powell and they were excellent teachers I thought.
