So I'm working at a festival and a guy asked for a pink thong across his whole face. I was initially offended...you know?... My b\f thought it was hilarious... Then I thought about the time some asked me for a helicopter-pig-cow... Yeah- seriously. NOT one of each, but all three in one.
That got me wondering what is the weirdest thing you have painted?
Let me know... I'm really curious.

Wow, Alison, did you do it? Inquiring minds. I was doing an event painting for a Jaguars, Colts football game and painting horseshoes for a few. Someone jokingly said to paint it on his whole face instead of just his cheek. Then decided to go for it. I thought it ended up looking great and I had one other guy in line decide he wanted that too. I had a man ask for big hibiscus flowers around his eyes. His daughters loved it and he said he was taking them to Walmart like that. I know there have been more, but my mind's went blank at the moment... You've got me with the pink thong though. I had 2 girls come up once and one wanted a pink cow full face and the other wanted a brown one. They were going to be strawberry and chocolate milk.

Well, today's phone call had to be the ultimate in a request! I decided to advertise on Craig's list last night! And needless to say it is being taken off today! My first call was - He wanted his p___s painted for a nude adult party! And then he went on to say how large he was! I then rudly told him, "go to hobby lobby, buy some paint, if you are that large you should have no problem looking down and painting it yourself, have a great day, and I hung up! That started my Sunday morning out interesting! Have a great day today everyone!

Wow, are you kidding me? There's always that one person! This reminds me of when I first started face painting, I think there were some in the family that thought it was a weird idea or that you couldn't make money at it. One friend of my brother-in-law sort of jokingly said he didn't want face painted, he wanted me to body paint him and he wasn't talking about serious professional body painting, if you know what I mean. I said no, there would be no "body painting".

Yes it was crazy! I guess every man exaggerates but...... the woman in me wanted to say.....REALLY! But I was so dumb founded, I didn't know what to say. When I got off the phone, I thought of this, I should have said, Hmmmmm is your ruler that you are using in millimeters? Or are you looking at it threw a magnifying glass?

Cool response you thought of Regina.
And yes - I did paint the flowers. It was fun. I like that. I've also painted a full body job (once). I considered myself lucky because I was a newbie and I came along to help a body-painter who helped me get started. Everyone just wore cotton thongs, so the breasts were
there.
Full body wasn't exceptionally Fun, though. It was WORK. I can't believe how many surfaces there are on a body.
I didn't have my own ideas - I was told exactly what to do. I'd like to get into that - there's some really neat stuff out there. Someday. If I ever have the time.....

Sparkling, I was laughing even before I got to the part where you wrote about your B/F thinking it was hilarious. It must be a guy thing! Too funny!

My first body painting job! One week after I started! I was called and asked can you paint 8 girls in 8 hours? I said wella yeah no problem WHAT A JOB! Head to toe every crack and cranny! But I finished in 7 hours and 45 minutes, and was a nervous! But I painted like I had done it a million times! and then I fell out Here is a a couple pics from that event

Is it tedious, overwhelming to get paint onto a whole body?

I got asked to paint a Fire Breathing Chicken once...does that fall under crazy or just really strange? I did a biker rally in Galveston, Tx a few years back and was approached by a big burly biker who asked me to paint Hello Kitty on his face...so I did, he looked adorable. At the same rally another big burly drunk biker asked me to paint his willy...my reply? "I dont do miniatures!" His biker friends didnt let up on him all night!
