My kids love to face paint and once in a blue moon I let them.  Not too often because it's soooo messy.

I thought I'd share some pics of their creations.  They're 3 and 5 years old btw.

I have pictures somewhere around here where I was the guinea pig for their creations.  Not my favorite thing, so I now I let them use the practice head or my Bratz doll styling head.

Your welcome! I have four daughters, ages now 30, 27, 22, and 19. All great gals, they have been around my art all their lifes.  By the time each one went to school, they new proportion of the body! And they used it in kindergarden when they drew! Out of the four girls, my youngest is so full of art ability, she reminds me of me! She is in college now, full time, she is going to be a school teacher, in two more years. And she works full time also, when she does have free time, and I do have a gig, she goes with me to face paint. She is so very good. But as she tells me "Mom this ain't something I want to make my living at" I just want to teach the children! But hay when she finally gets her classroom! Well I get to be the room grandma! But she already told me "Mom, you can't come everyday to paint the kids! Only on special days"  but I feel each day should be special! HAHAHHHAHA!

Future Face Painters???  I say, it would be great if you could trust them with human faces NOW.  Before you lose the Natural Abstract Style.  FANTASTIC WORK, KIDS!

wella I am flattered! Yes it is true! My babies are 30- 27- 22 -19, all girls, and we just had our first grandbaby 12 days ago! And you guessed it, A GIRL! My girls are my best friends, without them I am nothing, but with them by my side and in my life, I feel joy in my heart, and see love from my eyes! I am truely blessed. They keep me young! We have a girls day once a month. Started it three years ago. Now a normal girl's day could be, a walk in the park, and a wade in the stream. Going to the mall and finding the most beautiful dress, and trying it on! Everyone always carry their camera's, so it is nothing for us to dance with a manican, and someone will capture it on a snapshot. Or we might go to the park and chase the ducks, or if we feel like a good eye washing, we will go to a girlie movie just to boo hoo some tears. Winter time, well of course we all make snow angels! And then blast each other with snowballs. Ahhh a hot warm night, with the sky full of stars! that's a great time to spread a blanket on the ground, all lay next to each other and star gaze! And my girls do have a non girly side of them, they call it talent! I call it gross, they try to burp the alfabet! I can't do it, I tell them I am not full of gas! Life is as good as you make it! And when we get back to our home, well you got it! It is time to pick on Daddy! They will comb his hair and put baretts in it, paint his nails if they think he is asleep! tie his legs to the legs of his chair, paint his face, put shaving cream in his open hand, and then tickle his nose, this will make him put his hand to his nose and sirprize! But  he loves every minute of it! Blessed to be parents! But my babies grew to fast! Enjoy every minute, for your child grow up in a blink of an eye!

I'm in awe of your relationships with your girls.  Me and my sibs did stuff like that but they all got too proud to keep it up and I'm known as the one who'll do anything.  Can't get them to break down a little bit and I miss the shenanigans.  I have a son, 24, and daughter, 19, who don't play either.  Ah, where'd I go wrong?!!!

So, now I face paint.

BTW:  my husband is the horn.  I, too, can burp my vowels with awesome clarity.  Much practice pays off.

 Grin

Have a wondrous and blessed day all!

Ahhhh Amazing face! You did nothing wrong! I'm sure the children are wonderful adults now from your wisdom! And if you need a play mate, I'm  up for it! HAHAHHA I just move a bit slower now! But I too am game for any type of fun! But don't laugh at me when I dance! I create my own moves! HAHAHAHAHA I will crack up at my girls, and I will TRY to throw in a move like my 19 year old! Next thing I hear is "MOTHER" you know the stuff, the hip rolls and moves! HAHAHAHA little do they know, it makes my hip go out of joint! Have to then go visit my best friend! FLEXALL EXTRA STRENGTH RUB FOR SORE JOINTS! And congrats on your talent! I will have to tell my girls they have compitition!
