Yes Julie I know Anna!  How do you know her?  She lives 23 miles from my back door! HAHAHAHAHA She clocked it before!  She was the very first face painter that I meant, we arranged to have lunch at a McDonalds, halfway between our homes!  We spent hours there  painting on each other! It was so much fun! Had every one watching, but we didn't care! With in a week, she had me doing gigs! Yee Haa thats how I got started! She was the one that showed me there was room for a face painting business! We do team up alote on gigs, and we visited each other all the time.  And up dated news.......she is getting married on April 2nd! So I will be attending her wedding! I tell her that she is one of my daughters now! She just turned 30 in Decemember, and Ocie, she is a beautiful little lady! Such beautiful eyes, melts my heart.  Small world huh! She is the one that I buy all my product from.  She is now part of my family, all my girls just love her silliness, she is just like one of us!

Oh man, I always bring everything. I have a really hard time culling out what I don't need. Here's how I carry it. I have an office cart, the base is the size of a file folder box and it has wheels and a handle that extends. In this box I put my bottles of water, my banner, water well, and any other larger things I need. I have masking tape inthere, extra sponges, cotton balls, lots of odds and ends. On top of that box I stack a plastic, 4 drawer rubbermaid container. It has 2 small drawers and 2 large ones. My top drawer is all rainbow and arty cakes, along with my wolfe white and black, the next has glitter, blush, gems, and other details, the 3rd is a big drawer and has a section I can pull out with all my glitter tatoo stuff, under that section I have brushes, brush holder, brush bath, and a few other things. The 4th drawer holds books and ideas as well as a pallette that has all my main solid colors in it. I use tons of my arty brush (small rainbow) cakes. Flowers, leaves, oh, lots of things really. Anyway, I carry that whole stack, rolling with one hand, put my folding captain's chair over my shoulder, and a board with pictures in my other hand. One trip, unless I have to bring a little table. I always ask them to have one for me if possible.

I made my split cakes - So I'll be carrying two small containers - one for solids and one for splits.
Now I just have to go see what I'm going to do with those splits that I finally finished making
tonight.

Start looking at WHAT you actually DO use at most gigs. Get rid of the rest - it can stay at home or be brought to events you think may specifically need it. Its pointless having a huge load - kills your back, costs more in petrol, can be all ruined, etc.

I cut right down (made most of the pots in my 2 paradise pro cases 2 colours per pot) in HK as I have to walk/ get taxis/ climb stairs a lot. Realised its far safer as I can easily reach round to protect my entire kit; kids etc can't damage/ get at it as easily too..

It ALL fits in a rolling cabin sized suitcase with my big pro chair over my shoulder - and that includes the 2 cases, an asstd split cake 1 stroke (homemade) box, a recipie card sized box of asstd glitters, liquids, re-filled with own-make of Detailz; brush case, photo albums, pop up banner, pillow-sized bag of sponges, wipes, tblecloth, stool, water drinks, lunch....

I try to decant bigger/ heavier stuff into smaller containers/ split cake them as several times have had rain, sand (-storm, blew grit into eveyrthing I had open), drunks, spills etc ruin / break stuff on my table. Even at the 16 hr gigs I had all last week my 2 palettes were fine nd I just need to top up black, white and red...
