So I never knew the wonders of glitter tattoos... I got a glitter tattoo at LaFete and I'm in love! I adore glitter and this opened my eyes to a new way to wear glitter!
I ended up placing about a $200 order for glitter tats supplies, I was wondering how do you guys price your glitter tats? I was thinking $5 each but didn't know if that was right.
Anyways, let me know, also I would be interested in knowing how often you do them at festivals or pool parties..

I too want to get glitter tattoo's! I want to be able to start offering them at least by June, when I start my Ren Faires that I have scheduled. 9 weekends, sat and sun, 10am to 7pm. I want to have them to offer at the pay as you go events. Everyone that I have talked to said they charge $5.00 per glitter tatto. I have been researching where to buy the materials. Wher did you order yours from?

$5 is what we charge, $7 for the large stencils. Be warned though, the glue HATES the cold, we had to throw two away.

Mine seem to be more popular at parties and paid events. Once one gets one, they all want one. They don't seem to be as popular at festivals and fairs.

It might just be me. I might not be showing them off (promoting them) in the best way. I have plenty of signs for my face paintings, but not as much for the glitter tattoos. I think it would be different if I improved in that area. At the parties, once people see them, they seem to love them.
My most popular choices are butterflies and peace signs. After that, I'd say transformer, superman, dragons, hearts & dolphins.

I offer about 40 different designs and have them priced from $3 to $10. Most are $5 or $7. I have a couple that are REALLY simple, like just a star, or such that are the $3 ones and then, like 2 that are really large that are the $10 ones. I buy my supplies at www.sillyfarm.com

I've found that here in the West, at least, glitter tattoos are very popular at outdoor fairs and festivals; in fact that's all I do. (In tandem with my daughter doing henna.) The closer I can get located to a carnival that's part of the event, the better.
For special events, I vary the designs I display. I do two Scottish Festivals, so I have a special placard for Celtic designs out front. For the Fourth of July, I have one that features patriotic designs. County fairs that have rodeos get more of the Western designs, etc.
I start out with a 2x2 for $4, 2x4 for $6, 3x3 for $7, 2x6 for $8, and armbands for $10.

Now that I have had some rest from my long hours of weekend gizzard painting! I wanted to tell the forum about the airbrushing booths I viewed at the festival! The organizer wasn't to great on placing booths I don't think! If I was the organizer of a festival I would not have alote of the same thing for booths and not close together if I did! There was four airbrush tattoo booths there! Two were side by side! Skip one spot than another one, than me than skip one spot than the fourth airbrush booth! Only one face painter Thank GOD! But I checked out there prices! All were $5.00 to $15 for airbrush stencils! A piece sign the size of a quarter was $5, any thing bigger than about a 5" by 5" square was close to $15. Two booths only did black airbrush and the other two booths had about 6 colors and black and white! So I felt my prices were way to low! The one air brush booth guy kept coming over to my booth and kept telling me that him and I should team up and travel together! hmmmm carnie life? , he would say two great artists together we would make a killing! Ahhhh I ask him should I pack up my families suit cases? He laughed! But I thought mister you are not an artist! Any one can hold a stencil up and shoot it with air! Not if he free handed that airbrush design that would be different! But I just wanted to tell the forum about their prices!

Hey Mark! Love your stencils! Jut got some last week and updated my board!!!
But have to admit, I do $5, $7, $10, and $15 for armbands. Just added these, so may end up going down a bit, but we shall see. No one else does glitters in my area, so there's no competition!
