Here are a couple of pics from the Holiday Chef Market where I was asked to entertain kids so everyone else could shop for baked goodies...i had some baked goods to sell and my daughter took care of that for me...and i painted faces....had a good time, didn't do great as far as selling baked goods, but neither did anyone else....

i wonder if anyone can tel me how diamond FX stands up to sweat? I had a mom ask me to paint the kids faces for a baseball game...she wanted half face tigers in yellow, white, and purple.....here are a couple of examples....

Here's a kitty cat, but she almost looks like a rabbit...maybe a different color nose? i figured if i added a bow, it would help...she loved it and so did her mom....

Feel free to make suggestions...i need all the advice i can get here....

Maybe a smaller, more triangular nose will make it look more kittyish.

I worked in Aug at a large corporate event, a university alumni dinner picnic, white table clothes and waiters had white glove on! So very big! They had a jumping house that was as large as a football field, I was told that the group rented it at $6000.00 it aso had 10 opening for doors in it! And 10 employees came with the jumping house, one employee was at each door supervising! Just wanted to tell you of the mammoth house, anyways, the humity was the highest ever! The kids would get painted, go into the jump house and come back to get fixed! OMG! Where they a mess! Finally I told the kids to go jump all they want, THEN come back for face painting! But I have heard that you can dust the face with a body power, or talc power before painting, or you could use a sealer, when I do a long days face painting gig, I always paint myself for every thing, but if I am going to be in paint for hours, before I leave my house I spray my design with Aqua Net Extra Hold! It is about the same as the sealers you buy for big bucks! Yeah Aqua Net! I know it used to make my momma's hair hard like a helmet when I was young! HAHAHAHAHA

I have used it too...a long time ago...spray your face with hairspray? hmmmm, what a concept! i paint myself as well everytime...my husband tried to tell me not to for the holiday chef market...."he thinks he's an authority of practically everything"...he thought it was to classy of an event...get real! I told him, "so are you saying that I'm not classy?"...lol...anyway, i painted my face and went on.....everyone loved it....what better advertisement can you offer?...stupid men, what do they know...lol.....

Good thing your husband doesn't read at this chat room. You might be sleeping on the couch! (I understand completely!)
