4th of July!

4th of July...yay!  I've recently found out that I'll get to do a 4th of July event with the City of Jacksonville.    I was hoping to do a July 4th event, because I think it may be my favorite face painting holiday.  I know most would probably prefer Halloween, but I so love doing and coming up with 4th of July designs. 

We'll be getting a user gallery soon, so we can share face paintings.  I'll have to post all the fun designs I'll be doing next weekend!  I was going to post a 4th of July skull design I did on myself today, but thought I looked too intense to be on all my posts.    I'll definitely add it when we get the gallery though.

Although it's nice, I'd rather have Halloween. I enjoy the scary faces, and typically better weather. Not the "put your brush into the soup/100 degree tempatures" weather.

Hee, hee, I know what you mean.    I think I'm going to try taking a cooler this time.  I've heard if you take 2 blacks, you can swap them out as the heat starts turning one too goopy.  I've been working on my designs lately, getting ready for next weekend.
