Here is my new set up pictures! This is how I had it set up at the class. It worked great. I was in a small area, and I was able to set up my entire supplies! I love the toolbox. It has several drawers and I can keep supplies in the drawers and just get out what I need. The black case holds my two paint pallets also, just fold it up and lock the end! Wow one trip takes it all! The toolbox lid flips down and I use it for extra space. I had my basket of sponges on it, also my display boards that I made for the kids to help them choose designs. The pictures helped the students paint for the customers also. And the little corner that said "we are painting for tips tonight - thank you" was a big help! Our tip jar grew! We used that money and paid for everyones dinner that we enjoyed, I suggested we share our tips together, what a great class it was. And everyone was amazed at the ease of setting up and taking down my station. I'm lovin it!

the black case just folds in two, and locks on the end. It is four foot long. so that is a great length to work off from. I now store my two paint pallets in it. So that frees up another conpartment on the very top of the toolbox. fold it up and it rest right on top of the rollingbox grab my chair and off I go! Wow is it fast!

Where do you store your sign board when you're packing it up?

They ride with the captains chair! I slide the boards into a pillow case, I was going to make a slip to put the boards in but the pillow case works great, same size as the boards! After I put my captain's chair in it's case I lay the boards on top, zip up the bag and that's it! The chair is so light weight, it doen't hurt the boards at all.

I gotta take a picture of you setup, you guys would be amazed that I can fit everything in a laptop size bag. Sign and all. Most of the time they have table and chairs, I have a directors chair if I need one and a light folding table.
I'll get around to it.

I am all about compact stuff! I really love this rolling toolbox, and I am in love with this table top! For now anyways! But I think my back loves it more! I would love to see your set up!

Is there a name for that box, Julie? Something I might be able to buy?
You guys are so organized... I need to get on the ball. I get so tired of making multiple trips for my stuff.
I'd love to see yours Mandi... that sounds like a dream!

Those are both great. I wind up all over the place including out in the middle of fields for ball tournaments and sports days. I get everything into a vintage suitcase or a medium sized tool box and a craft carrier. There have been times when I've sat on the ground for 6 hours straight (only for really good paying, important events) but then I just set my paints on the ground around me and have the kids sit beside me on my picnic blanket. (I'm grateful my knees are still good!) For most gigs they have a table set up for me. D
