As you know I am so in love with loew cornell soft comfort brushes, but Krista and I went to Micheals today so she could get scrapebook stuff, and me to look for new brush! HAHAHA I have been wanting a one inch flat! Ahhh loew cornell does not have one in Taklon in a one inch! And the stores are discontinuing loew cornells, I am starting to panic! But I say BUT! I did buy a Royal No Slip Rubber one inch flat! I just played with it and I LOVE IT! I wanted some thing that I could use in my one inch split pots that I make that would pickup all the color of the split pot and it works, very very well! And the control on the brush OMG GREAT! It springs back and washes up pretty well! It is a white taklon, so it will gain color, but it is great!

I need a good 3/4 and 1 inch brush. Was it expensive? I was also at Michael's tonight and i bought a little bead holder that I used to make split cakes with. It is about an inch deep with 8 rectangular compartments. I made 4 splits tonight and man, does it take alot of paint. But, I love it. I will have to go back and check out the brushes. I just bought a 3/4 brush Lananickel(?) SUNBURST. The bristles seperate around the 2nd loop. That sucks.

My favorite is a loew cornell also. It is the 7020 Ultra round #2. It's a great all around brush, great for fine stuff too!!

I got the deal of the day today! Stopped at Joanns fabric shop, and you know I had to get me a loew cornell brush! They must be in the beginning of discontinuing them! Weep weep! BUT They had two packages of flat loew cornells on clearance! They were originally $19.99 for a set of 5, maked down to $9.99 and then they had a 90% off ticket on them! So I got the whole package for 99 cents, five brushes! So I bought both packages, and then I ask the girl if she had an other 100 packages in the back room! HAHAHAHA I painted with my gal Anna this morning so I gave her one package for a friend gift! She looked them!

O.k. if they're discontinuing these, it looks like I'll be hitting the craft stores when I get some free time this week. I love good brushes on clearance!

Gina, please excuse the intrusion, however I would like to ask a question off the line of brushes.....I live in Seattle and to my knowledge there isn't any classes for face painting here. Have you ever thought of holding any classes? Online? Let me know Thanks Ramona (saloner)

I haven't done any on line classes as of yet! I just got a few e-mails from other painters and it may just be in the making soon! I just taught a class in Fort Wayne Indiana, it was great, the people who attended was so much fun to work with. The gal who organized the class did a great job. Yes I am willing to travel to teach class, I have been offered now to teach in Calif, Pa, Ohio, Florida, mo. Ind. Tenn. I have been trying to work on dates for this year. My painting schedule right now has been really booked up with gigs, I ventured into painting at ren faires, OMG Great oppertunity if you ever get the chance! And great exposure for your busy. I am also working on writing a book right now. It will be a step by step book for fast girl and boy designs.

You'll have to keep us posted, if you start giving classes. If you do any Florida ones, I'd love to go.
