Hey guys...well, what a bummer! I had a gig this weekend..can't say it was all bad though...it was a christian concert at a park..they had vendors selling food and crafts and the entertainer ...ME! Anyway, we had many, many good bands there too....it was free and by the time i bought a t-shirt, and me and my honey ate, we came out about $15.00 ahead!...so, we used up about $45.00!....lol, i guess it's ok since it was mother's day weekend...

I met this prison guy and he showed me how to do some tribal art...here is the pic of him and his neck..not sure what the stitches and eyeball were all about but we had fun chatting about his prison days and talking 'paint'... He has two teardrop tatoos below the other eye...i said, "why don't you let me paint them?"...like a dummy,,,,my husband said, "she doesn't know"....i looked puzzled...he said, "if you color them in red, it means that you have killed someone"!.... help!....anyway, this was a younk guy, and not sure if he had actually killed someone or not, but he seemed nice and was trying to turn his life around so i wasn't worried too much.....

also, here's a pic of the sunset at the beach...can anyone guess what's wrong with the pic?...something is backwards!....let me know if you figure it out....

For some reason, it's not letting me view the last two close up.  Frustrating!  I think it's my slow computer.

I love the tribal & freaky eye and stitching one.  I couldn't view the last 2 close up, but I think you mean the yellow and orange switched on the sunset?  The sun on it sure looks pretty from a distant, but I couldn't get a good look.  Maybe I'll try later.

Nice stuff. Could you mean that the shadow of the island would be to the LEFT since the sun is in the middle?

The thing that i realized after i did the face was that i think the horizon is reversed...i think the red should have been on top..not on bottom...after all, the sun is shining right? lol, guess my dislexia kicked in! :

i certainly need some practice, but it was fun...it was fun trying to paint that sunset too..that man had a BIG OL' FACE! It seemed like it took a gallon of paint!...not to mention trying to paint a face with hair sticking out all over the place!..he only did this cause his wife dared him to!...too funny....

my dislexia kicked in cause the horizon is upside down!..oh well, i don't think he noticed!....

I don't care for  painting over stubble, beards or mustaches... it's harder for me to cover.

Sherry and I had something simular to this, except it was at a town garage sale. We get there and before we are even set up at our booth I saw a toy the people at the booth next to ours had for sale. Nothing like starting out in the hole. It ended up being a good day anyway.
