Gina, that is gorgeous! Your canopy looks nice too. I've had my Wal-mart one going on the third year and would like to get a new one... a nicer looking one I think. What kind is yours? Love the fairy girl too!

thanks gals! my tent is an ez up tent and I have had it for just about 25 years! I really have taken care of it well. When I was doing wood craft I had it up every weekend from april to nov. so to keep it clean I would set it up in the back yard every couple weeks, and spray it down with water and get a bucket of soapy water , I used car wash soap and would dip my broom into the soapy water and began scubing! I would get soaked! But it kept it pretty well in shape. I do have a pin that came out, and I use a dowell peg to put in the hole! And when the wind blew it ove last week and I had to fix every thing, a medal poll that runs on top broke at the screw joint, so when hubby came home it fixed it for me right away. The carry bag is starting to get pretty fragile thou! the back drop is made out of muslin material, I sewed all the back seams, and put 4 inch strips of vynal along all edges and seams, for strength. and there is 18 inch ties that I made to tie it to the frame. worked on this so very hard!

Gina,
I know you paid to be at the Fair (more than most fairs), so what did you charge your customers?

no the sides did not come with then tent. I do have the sides tho. I didn't want to paint them, I felt it would make it to hot in side my booth. I would and do only use the sides to close up my booth if it is an over night set up. These sides are made out of muslin material that I bought at the fabric store. If you look you can see along the top where I sewed about a four inch strip of vynal for re-enforcement. The material lets air come threw the in side of the tent, it can still breath. This took 11 yards of material, thats 33 feet to make. I am going to add three more feet to the bottom of the piece within the next couple weeks. I want to paint a kind of flower garden at the bottom, with life looking garden fairies, the white pixies on the back drop are just kind of an illustion to look at. I am just going to keep adding scenery to the back drop, until I get it just the way I want it. Also I airbrushed all the back side of the material in shades of blues and purples. I am going to do some thing on the outside to. Just to make it eye appealing to the passing visitors. I think then this will make it complete! I am also going to make a party one for the kid events very soon. I always go to Joann's fabric shop, and at most of those stores they always have a 40% coupon at the door. This material cost me $14.00 to purchase! And I have about 200 bottles of acyrlics left over from woodcraft days, so I am just using them up as I go!
