are you guys using a brush? those are great!! I was at michael's today and saw a glitter tattoo kit - it was called "sparkle henna"....lol... anyways - it has a bottle with a tiny tip.... not sure if it worked, but wondered if yall have tried it with a bottle. I'm a bit scared to as I would think too much glue would escape....let me know

Was it like this? http://www.jacquardproducts.com/products/kits/mehndiglitter/I want those bottles!!!! I'm going to email them to see if they can sell them to me! I personally have never used the bottles to apply the glue. Only taklon brushes. I know Cat uses the bottle method for her glitter body tattoos and her work is amazing. I think it probably takes some practice to get the glue stream just right. I've been looking for bottles with that tip so I could try it, but have had a hard time finding them. I also want the bottles with that tip so I can make up some glitter gels....I have the gel and TONS of glitter on hand...so if anybody knows a good place to get those bottles wholesale send word my way please

That looks like a glitter tattoo kit to me. I guess it was only a matter of time, before they started offering it to the public. We tried some with a bottle we found at Michaels. It had a metal tip, with 2 different sized tips. It worked pretty good with the adhesive from Glimmer. Then I tried a different bottle with the adhesive Amerikan Body Art sells and it was too runny. I think the tip on this bottle may have been larger. I don't know where they got it from though, it was a gift from my secret Santa. I've been using a taklon brush for these designs. I really like it. I did a peace sign glitter tattoo the other day because I'd run out of the stencils and I thought it looked pretty good.

Anyone freehand their glitter tattoos? I can't remember who I heard it from, but someone said you don't have to let the glue dry clear before using it.
I only ever freehand, I can't stand the waste/ hassle/ constrictions of the stencils.
and yes you do have to wait for it to dry just the same, or you will smudge it/ ruin the design when you brush off the excess...

I've always let the glue dry clear before using it. You do? You don't? And were you saying that it would be better if I'd wait again after putting on the glitter?

In an earlier post, I said that I'd heard somewhere that you didn't have to let the glue dry clear. I think Cat was responding to my post saying that you do.

I am VERY interested in doing these and having my 11 yr old learn how with me. How long does it take the glue to dry? What kind of glue is it?

I use Pro Aide and Graftobian Pro Adhesive. I have also used Ybody pink glue and Amierikan Body Art glue. I like Ybody and Graftobian Pro Adhesive best. x

She also told me that some one told her to add a drop of paint to the glue so you can see where you have put the glue at, as it dries! What kind of paint? Face-paint? Good Morning Regina :-)

Yes, it's face paint that they use. I believe you can add a bit to your bottle of adhesive to color it slightly.

Yep sometimes when I decant my glue (I now use Mouldlife Aqua Fix as its so much cheaper/ available in bigger 1L+ bottles etc) into the small fine tipeed glitter gel/ henna/ gutta bottles I use to apply it, I add a crumb of face body or liquid body paint.
Not always as I'm used to it now and can often do the whole design 'blind' with the invisible glue:)
