My First Offician PPF

Hi! Did my first PPF. Thanks for you advice on pricing! I charged $5 for cheek/arm/eye art; $7 for half face and $9 for full face. Most of the photos attached fell under the $7 category. Only 2 or 3 popped for the $9 art. So NO SPIDERMEN that afternoon. What a shock!
Had a line of kids, but not everyone was patient and stayed. I believe that I still need to work on simplifying my designs so I can go through customers quicker. I tend to try to impress with extras (gemstones, glitter, more lines, extra colors), but I am cutting my own throat. I will be working on redesigning each choice and using less strokes. Then practice it enough times where I just work and don't think, where do I put my next line or curly q?
Made about $200 for 10 am - 3 pm. Could have gone better. Just need to keep trying. I am doing another event there on Labor Day weekend.
Oooh yeah, I painted 60+ ornaments to have at my table. I sold 2. Guess Christmas in July was a bit early for most. Don't even care...I allowed me to face paint!!!!!!!!

Nice Wina, I love it! And I love your face paintings!
I'm glad to hear it went so well. It's true how those little things can really slow your line down. Glitter is one of the first things I skip when I start to have a line.

Love your designs, but, could someone tell me what a PPF is? Sorry, I'm a rookie. Thx.

PPF - pay per face - a gig where you charge per face. When I do a PPF gig, I always use glitter I think it will add to the design of all the little details we may omit to gain speed! There for I always use just one color! No choice just glitter! White glitter in a poofer bottle, one poof on each side and seat your next client. I also place the mirror away from my table, this gets the kids up and running over to the mirror to take a peak at them selfs. and you can seat the next person and begin painting.

U have no idea how much help you've given me in that little paragraph. I volunteered a few hours at my church picnic this weekend and I literally found myself asking them to get out of the chair as they were looking at the finished design LOL! But the mirror on the other side is a great idea. Was the PPF @ a festival, carnival, what?

I was painting at an Arts and Craft Show at Woodhaven Lakes. It's the biggest trailer resort in the US. My family has owned property there since the 70s. My tent also had ornaments for sale. They would only let me be a part of this event, if I had some craft that you could stick in a bag. No problem. Only sold 2 ornaments, but had a line for face painting. Will be doing their next Arts and Crafts show on Labor Day weekend. Just a one day event.
