Wow! I had my first event yesterday. They ate my lunch! lol. I had a huge long line the entire time...The streetsweepers were done before I was. The group putting on the event paid me, so it was free to the public....which is why they were happy to stand in line for 45 min I guess? There werent many kids activities and I was next to the free ice cream truck and in the "center" of the event. Had to downsize all designs and make as fast as possible. Honestly, some of them I'm embarrassed of...but, every single kiddo seemed happy. My 13yo did a fantastic job of taking pics.....90 percent of parents signed off on and had pics of their kiddo taken. I will be redoing that form though, it was a bit confusing. The event scheduled me for 2 hours and in the end paid me for all 4 hours I was there in addition to a $20 tip. Other tips totalled around $40 for this 4 hour event. All in all, I am extremely happy to have the paid practice, pics for my site, passed out tons of flyers and many were excited saying they would call/book.
