Cheek or Arm Art, Graffiti and face painting
« on: October 22, 2010, 06:38:09 AM »

I've been working on my graffiti name writing lately.  I think I'm improving.  The first one compared to the second two.

I usually offer the Ben10 Watch as a choice for boys, but this one decided he didn't want Ben 10, just a watch.  Smiley

Not face paint, just a stenciled glitter tattoo, I just thought he was a cutie and looked so happy with it.   Smiley

Sherry, I am going to have to tell you!  I think that your Hello Kitty is the best design I have even seen on the human canvas!  I have not yet had a request for Hello Kitty!  Can't Believe it, but I haven't!  I have studied a few pics of Hello Kitty, just so I can be ready!  But your's is the most cleanest, straight lines, uniform design, bold and bright, and I just LOVE the pink cheeks, it makes the face painting just purrrrrrfect! Way to go girl friend, job well done!

Wow, thanks guys!  Smiley

Here are a few more pics.  I tried to post yesterday, but my computer was not cooperating!

I could not get the red for Elmo to show up very well at first on this customer's arm, but remembered some saying they did a base coat in white on darker skin tones.  I went back with Snaz white and then tried the DFX red again and it showed up much better.  I thought the DFX white would be TOO overpowering and just make it pink.  I think if I'd started with white from the getgo, it may have even looked brighter.

Sherry! I love your blue and red roses! You are very good at illustration, arent you?  Elmo looks fab too. Thanks for the tip re: painting a base on darker skin.  I didnt know you could use white for that purpose. Great idea! xoxoxo
