I just received an email from one of the ebay sellers. He was selling Dozen Lot 2oz.Mehron Barrier Spray makeup fixer sealer It sounds great. Has anyone used this product. They say it is good to spray on before so that sweat doesn't come through as quickly. Sounds good to me. I may be buying the dozen. That should last a looooooong time!

Yeah, that stuff works. I use it after I apply the face paint. I have that and Ben Nye's Final Seal. The face paint holds up longer to sweaty events.

Do you think that the final seal works well with grease paints? For some one who is real sweaty? I had one guy that kept losing his face! I had to completely re due it each break, from him sweating so much

Well, I ordered the dozen fixatives. If anyone need some, let me know. Not sure I need the whole dozen.

I have done a few tests where I paint, spray and then sleep. The areas that were unsprayed rub off quite a bit, the areas that were sprayed look pretty good the next day!

Are these fixatives kind of like hair spray? Not on anyone else, but I always go painted myself to all gigs. And I spray my own face with extra hold aquanet! It works wonderful. I never tell the kids about the hair spray, I don't want them going home and getting into moms and shouting it in their eyes! But it works for me.

Yes, I think so, because that's what it smells like to me. But it may or may not have cosmetic compliant ingredients like the fixatives would.
Another great trick for hairspray... when I was in Beauty School, if you sprayed a hair color stain on your white clothes before washing them, the stain would come right out. I've thought about trying that with face paint, especially when DFX black gets on them, but haven't yet.

I will give hair spray the test on Hannah's next top that she drulls her sweet potato baby food on! I always scrub it by hand until my knuckles fall off! I don't want her Momma to know that I don't bother to put a bib on her! hahaha Grandma is the old fashion gal! Hannah and I do pretty darn good, I teach her "put ALL the food IN THE MOUTH" hahaha and she normally listens to me! hahahaha!

I really do not advise these fixatives (or hairspray) on kids faces at normal events.
I painted mainly in HK the last 5 yrs and its hot & humid, but parents expect the paint to sweat off. Seat cools kids down, its needed! Plus anything that makes paint harder to get off is not welcomed by many.
Yes I use it on bodies (mainly arms/ sides where they get rubbed/ sweat)/ dancers/ performers but I would not bother otherwise.
