Yep, apparently I have a brain in my head. Almost a month ago, someone (who are you???) booked me for November 13th. I am not sure if they gave me any details. I wrote it in a spiral notebook that I keep with the phone books.

Well, my younger son wanted to scribble inside it...and now it is GONE!!!!!! No one has called to give me an address or other info. I am hoping that they didn't give it all to me before.

Since then, I got an opportunity to do an all day craft show on NOVEMBER 13TH.
I didn't have to pay for the table (I had a credit), so I said yes. So I am planning for the craft show.
If I get any calls in the next few days, I am hoping I can do both. Or maybe, they changed their minds,
and never called back. Gotta get a gig book that NO ONE TOUCHES except me.

Anyone else missing their brain?

Sometimes, because there is only so much one person can do!  I normally email them a booking form that they fill out, so I have that record.  Then I print it out and keep it in my basket of upcoming events.  Plus I write the bare details down in my appointment book.  Sometimes these things don't get done properly in the hectic days.

I have a party coming up this Saturday in fact, where I can't figure out where I placed the details.  All I had is a name.  I usually go back through my old emails with a fine tooth comb and come up with the info that way.  Luckily my customer called to check on me yesterday to see if we were still good for Saturday.  So if worse comes to worse, I now have her phone number.  Woo hoo!

When the little ones get a hold of things though, what can you do?

Lol.  I will definitely join! I usually save the phone numbers that call for a booking on my phone as "November 13th" or which ever date they have reserved.  When I get time I go back into my calendar and add the info there.  Using the paypal deposit link on my site has saved me as it gets their email to me.  Yeah, their fees are no fun, but a couple of dollars to ensure their seriousness and no last minute cancellations is well worth it.  I have only had one university that couldnt and a company that is sending a check instead.  Every one of my now four (wahooo!) private parties that have booked havent blinked an eye at my paypal deposit policy.
