Ooops - I'm such a talker.  Looks like I've been getting off topic.
Let's get back to the original Getting To Know You questions that Sherry posted.
I hope that still more people will step up.  It's fun to know a bit about you people.
And it's also fun to tell us about yourself.  Try it.  Enjoy.

last item purchased?
A palette case to hold 24 face painting cakes

Is there a child who looks up to you?
My oldest son for sure. My younger son, yes, but he walks to his own drummer.
Lots of kids from our school/church. I do lots of volunteering there. One kid made
a sign for me (it's on my fridge), "Mrs. Shelley is the BEST!" Yeah, me!

What's the funniest gift you've received?
A Miss Piggy doll...I was in my twenties. Personal shower gifts...little wind up male parts. GARBAGE!

What band or singer would you camp out all night to get tickets to see?
Out ALL night? No one, I'm almost fifty! I am happy with cds.

What's the strangest food you've ever ate?
I was a picky kid, so nothing then. Now...pizza in italy with tons of little fish on it.
Hated it - sooooo salty! But the menu was in italian, "Pizza Napoloni?"

What would be your dream venue?
An opportunity to paint full bodies, pregnant bellies for print or film.
And have my own personal massuer (sp?)

What's the first thing you do when you get up in the morning?
Put on glasses, bathroom, take meds

Have you ever met a famous person? Just local Chicago celebs.

If you could live anywhere in the world for a year, where would it be?
England. I would have free admission for me and my family to see every play that in town.

I am an involved Catholic. My hub and I do workshops for engaged couples and have done workshops
on different aspects of marriage and adoption. Love it and would love to do more. I would love to be
a professional motivational speaker and continue face painting. Wish jobs could be during the week, so
my weekends are ONLY for my family!

Pizza Napoloni - that's funny!
I hope I never have to eat it.
