Happy Thanksgiving to all my face painting family. May your day tomorrow be blessed with wonderful family time, may each and everyone one of you give thanks for our wonderful lifes, may you enjoy quality time with family and friends, and enjoy our dinner of blessings.

Thank you Sherry for my wonderful gift I received in the mail today, my jumbo pallette, this truly made my day! I have a really big gig to do on Saturday morning, and I was completely out of red and white! I was racking my brain on where to get it! My gal that I get from Anna, her order is held up in customes right now! Whew!  You were truly my painting angel today. Thank you again.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and everyone too!  I was thinking the same thoughts of wishing this.

Hoping that everyone has a wonderful one.  I'm preparing to fix my specialties... potato candy and buckeyes.   Grin

Our potato candy is OLD!   Grin    As kids, me and my cousin looked forward to it every Christmas... pretty rich though.  I learned it from my Aunt.  Kind of a tricky recipe to make.  Peel and chop a potato in large pieces.  Boil it soft and let cool to room temperature.  Mash the potato with a fork and continue mashing and mixing with powdered sugar until you have a dough.  Lay out wax paper, sprinkle with powdered sugar and roll out dough.  Spread with peanut butter.  Roll up and slice, then refrigerate.  Not too much powdered sugar or the dough will crack and be too hard and not taste as good.

They're just names of homemade candies.  Buckeyes are similar to reese's with peanut butter and chocolate.
