Happy New Year... Did You Go Painted?
« on: January 02, 2011, 03:08:02 PM »

First, Sherry, I want to say, it was good "painting with you" at the Zoo event! I was very slammed, but it was fun.
So, if anyone went painted on New Years, post your pics. I had a day gig at the zoo & an evening gig. BTW... if someone invites you to do PPF on a Casino Cruise & says you'll be slammed... go with your gut... it was all senior citizens who looked at me like I was looney. Thankfully I was able to jump ship before I got stuck till 2am Smiley

Ha!  Pretty funny Linda.   Grin  Yeah, we live and learn, huh.  I liked painting with you too!  It might have been more fun if they'd seated us at the same table, maybe we could have actually interacted with each other a tiny bit, even though we were slammed.  Then the 2 inexperienced volunteers might not have felt so intimidated.

Love your New Years faces, btw... beautiful!

Oh and I don't think I did go painted on New Years.  At the gig I did with you, I was in a rush and didn't find time to paint myself.  It was New Years after all and we had plans that night, plus the event at the zoo was a last minute request they sent.

Yeah, it would have been nice if we'd been together. I think they were afraid of the traffic jam face painting creates & wanted to split it up. My poor volunteer had a book of stolen snaz designs & a small paradise pallet. She kept having people jump ship from her line.
It was a last minute job for me, but I had no work New Years weekend & was itchin' to paint Grin
